The ISA/IEC 62443-4-2 standard specifies the technical cybersecurity requirements for components of Industrial Automation and Control Systems (IACS). It focuses on ensuring the security of embedded devices, network components, host components, and software applications within these systems. The standard aims to provide a comprehensive framework to protect IACS components from cyber threats, ensuring their integrity, availability, and confidentiality. Almost all the controls here have a corresponding system-level controls in Part 3-3.
