Operational Technology Cybersecurity – United and Strong
We are living in a time where speed and connectivity is everything. The pace of digital transformation continues to accelerate, and the complexity of these technologies makes it extremely difficult to fully understand the vulnerabilities and risks it brings until it is sometimes too late.
“Countering Cyber Sabotage” by Andew A. Bochman and Sarah Freeman opens a whole new perspective of combining traditional safeguards with modern day digital controls to protect our critical systems.
Please check out my original article on LinkedIn to read about my view on how to implement Consequence-based, Cyber-informed Engineering.

https://applepaycasinos.net aside, the point about vulnerabilities not being fully understood until it is too late rings true in my own experience with outdated industrial control systems that never get patched because downtime feels riskier than the threat. Bochman and Freeman's idea of pairing traditional safeguards with digital controls seems practical, though I wonder how many organizations actually have the budget to act on that before an incident forces their hand. The LinkedIn piece sounds like it digs into the harder question of making consequence-based engineering something teams can implement rather than just aspire to.
